    Excellent location for that price

Reception staff very good location good ideal for what I required plenty of restaurants near by if you wished to eat out .

I did not like the room I was allocated which was in a basement facing the street also there were bars on windows so not very good if a fire occurred

The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful.

This hotel is NOT value for money - do not stay here unless you have to!! The rooms are TINY - we had absolutely no free space. There was only 6 inches between the end of the bed and the wall, you could barely walk past. Some of the rooms are in the basement, with no natural light. The lift can only fit 2 people with the smallest of suitcases. Stay elsewhere!

    Good staff, very polite

Old, room needs renovating (but still good for the price I paid)

Just around the corner from the underground tube station and Earls Court restaurants.

One of the clerks gave me wrong directions to my room when I checked in. Creaky floor boards in rooms.

Loved location very near earls court underground. Lovely spacious room. Lovely breakfast and lovely bar.

The downstairs bar area and restaurant were lovely.

The furnishings really need to be updated.

Friendly staff, ability to use wifi and work from the room.

The constant noise of the tubes.

The staff are quite friendly and helpful. The room I was assigned to is very well-facilitated and quite clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent, with a good range of choices offered. The location is excellent, being about 5 mins walk away from the Earl's Court Underground Station and there are many shops and eating outlets, including m&s Simply Food, Co-Op, Boots and Burger King nearby.

The cost of breakfast was not included when booking was made. In the end I have to get breakfast vouchers from the counter staff and the bills were added on top of the room charge for the 5 nights I stayed. For regular internet users, please be warned that the Wifi, although free of charge, can be quite unstable from time to time, especially in the evenings. I had to restart my laptop and re-login in other to stay online.

The location was brilliant and the area itself very pretty. The staff, with one or two exceptions were very pleasant and helpful.

On two occasions, a Saturday and following Sunday, the restaurant simply closed - without notice or bonus. On Saturday they were booked for a special event and would not take room service orders. On Sunday, we returned from an exhausting day only to find the dining room was closed. While there were other places nearby, advance notification of the closing would have been great appreciated.

The Earl's Court part of town is nice, the hotel is located in a quiet street and yet close to the tube. The single room was small but comfortable, and everything in it worked. Ideal hotel for a city trip.

The price was good, considering I was paying on average 80 GBP per day because of a special offer by Booked.net, and the location, very close to a London Underground station (Earl's Court) and a few local shops, was very good.

I think the staff should look a little bit better after the cleanliness of the rooms!

  • Single

Unfortunately, the only positive thing was the cleanliness of the room, as the cleaning staff did very good work changing towels every day. All the rest of the hotel services was bad...

A very bad overall choice, especially as it's supposed to be 3* and I paid some 300£ for 4 nights!!...Room was extremely small (you can hardly move from bed to bathroom) as well as with timeworn and smelly furniture, pretty much warm for summer (no air conditioning), with very much noise coming from creaking wooden floor, stairs and other rooms, even from the near train station...Horrible sleep!!...Shower not working properly, as water pressure is really insufficient so it takes you one hour to get a proper shower!! I asked the receptionist to have somebody check it but they just said that's it!!...Don’t fool yourselves that the hotel is near the Underground station, there are also other hotels on the same street that might be better. This one is definitely bad and you must avoid it!!

  • Older travelers

the hotel was generally very noisy we had a room by the front porch which was the smoking area and were awoken at 06.30 the water system appeared to have its main outlet for the whole hotel through the room. on the whole I would stay at the hotel again but avoid room 67 like the plague

  • Single
    5.0

The room though small was quiet and comfortable. There was nothing else to commend it. The price was totally different to my last stay at this hotel.

The mix up with my payment was not acceptable and I ended up with no breakfast. The reception staff on arrival were not sympathetic though the hotel had cocked up.
